General Hangout Guidelines — Leaders Listen and Encourage Sharing

Not that you needed one, but here’s a reminder of another key principle for iStudy:

A leader’s responsibility is to facilitate the discussion—not to teach. A leader must be tolerant of different points of view.

Being tolerant does not mean contradicting the Word of God, but it does mean listening first to make sure you understand what others are saying.

It also helps you with another guideline for group hangouts — encouraging all members to share their answers.
