How to Lead a Group Hangout – Encourage Fellowship

Whatever you typed, you’re probably like us. At least one reason you’re involved with iStudy is because you know from personal experience that studying the Word will benefit others.

(And let us say again, we thank God for you. 🙂

Now, let’s look at the second area of leading group hangouts — encouraging fellowship. We’ve touched on this a little in our guidelines.

  • Each person should feel accepted, loved, and appreciated.
  • This feeling will emanate from the leader to the whole group. (In other words, accept, love and appreciate your group members.)
  • Keep things non-threatening. We all remember being called on when we did not know the answer.

(Speaking of acceptance, love, and appreciation, have we mentioned that’s what a good shepherd gives to others? Just saying. 🙂
