Who Jesus Says He Is

This week in iStudy, we are continuing with Mark, specifically Mark 2:1-3:6. See what Micki Harding, one of our teaching leaders, has to say about who Jesus says he is: Here is a YouTube video excerpt from Lesson 2 [youtube=http://youtu.be/YCkhAyX4Qgg&w=400&rel=0] What would be your reaction to someone you didn’t know, reading your mind in a public place?

Insulted? Intrigued? Downright freaked out?

Micki told you what the Pharisees had to say about this. Now, what would you say? Can you imagine a relationship that is so personal, so intimate, your heart and mind are no longer “private property”? Jesus Christ knows your thoughts and words before they leave your mouth. “But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said ‘Why do you think evil in your hearts?’” Matthew 9:4 “…would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart.” Psalm 44:21 Jesus loves you in spite of your thoughts and longs for a personal relationship with you. He is waiting to be invited into your heart and world . . . don’t keep Him waiting.
